The Regal Cinema

The Regal Cinema

The Regal Cinema in Fordingbridge is a lovely Art Deco building that first opened its doors back in 1933. It ran until 1965, when it shut down and later housed an electronics company for a while. Fast forward to 2017, and it got a full restoration to recapture that 1930s charm, reopening as a community-run spot.

These days, it’s a non-profit cinema showing a mix of films, from classics to new releases, and even special events like live theatre broadcasts.

You can catch screenings most days, with tickets bookable online through their site. It’s got a real cosy, nostalgic feel that’s perfect for film fans in the area.
